Welcome to Ichiro's Area 51!  This is a fansite dedicated

to the one and only, Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners,

formerly of the Orix Blue Wave.  Making his debut in the

2001 Major League Baseball season as the first Japanese

position player, Ichiro has been in the international spotlight. 

He has been, and still remains the hope, pride, and joy of Japan.  Now, he has the chance to become a baseball legend in America.  Ichiro is well on his way.  He has turned heads around the world, but especially in America, where he is tearing of the Majors.  Japanese fans flock from afar to catch their hero in action.  Currently, he is slated to be a starter in the 2001 All-Star

Game @ Safeco Field, his home turf.  If he continues at this torrid pace, he is also a favorite for Rookie Of the Year, which teammate Kazuhiro Sasaki, another Japanese sensation, was awarded last year.  Ichiro, we love you!
